Where the sun
becomes sweet

Puente Genil, between two shores and with a special accent, has a significant cultural and artistic heritage. It is located in the heart of Andalusia, a land of friendly people and, as Manuel Machado said: “Vivid light floods it and when the sun arrives in the west, the air perfumes”.

Its privileged geographical location, its traditions and the fact that it is considered the town of light make the town a captivating place.

Archaeological Site “Villa Romana de Fuente Álamo”

Near the town centre of Puente Genil you can find one of the most important archaeological sites in Andalusia. Among its well-preserved remains there are over 750m² of mosaic pavements, one of the largest collections of mosaics from Roman Hispania.
