Easter Week in Puente Genil is considered to be one of the most peculiar and particular in Andalusia, even having its own name: Mananta. Archaeological Site “Villa Romana de Fuente Álamo”
Near the town centre of Puente Genil you can find one of the most important archaeological sites in Andalusia. Among its well-preserved remains there are over 750m² of mosaic pavements, one of the largest collections of mosaics from Roman Hispania.

Industrial Complex “La Alianza”.
The Industrial Complex “La Alianza” was a flour factory that merged with an electricity factory. The good state of preservation in which it has reached our days, the great revolution that it meant together with the importance of the creator of the building, Leopoldo Lemoniez, a disciple of Gustave Eiffel, makes “La Alianza” one of the best preserved examples of Andalusian industrial heritage of our days.

Local History Museum
The Local History Museum is located in the historical centre of the city and is one of the most unique buildings. It was originally the convent of “La Victoria”. The cloister courtyard and its sober baroque staircase can still be seen. Today the Museum houses the Archaeology and Ethnography Section, the Fosforito Room, the Pérez Almeda Room and the Permanent Municipal Museum of Semana Santa.
